The PT449 transducer is a miniature pressure transducer that mounts directly in the mold, flush with the cavity surface. The transducer does not depend upon knockout pins, thus eliminating pin hangup and improving measurement accuracy. The PT449 is used to measure peak cavity pressure, the most accurate and repeatable way to initiate the holding pressure phase.
