HDV1

The HDV1 System is a manual method providing the basic features necessary to comply with worldwide HDT/VICAT test specifications, including ASTM D648, D1525, ISO 75 and 306. The HDV1 system can be configured for up to 6 stations, for multiple analyses within a single run. The system includes a large, 16 liter insulated stainless steel bath with a powerful impeller stirrer system, offering superior thermal distribution within +/- 0.2° C. The immersion heater allows for testing samples up to 300°C, and is controlled by a programmable temperature controller for rise rates of 50°C per hour or 2°C per minute. 

The measurement of deflection is carried out with a dial indicator micrometer with a resolution of 0.01 mm and the temperature measurement is obtained through an ASTM 2°C thermometer. THh HDV1 is supplied with as standard a variable weight set (per test station), including 1100, 500, 100, 50, 10, 5, 1 gm weights and 2 each of 200, 20, 2 gm weights for a total of 2210 gm per station. HDT Foot, Vicat Adapter, Cooling Coil and Bath Drain are also included.
