With this, we created our "Channel Partner Spotlight" segment dedicated to highlight our partnership and effectiveness in the Plastics Markets.
We interviewed with Brian Spell, President of Advance Technology Systems (ATS) to hear his thoughts on their partnership with Dynisco. ATS represents both Dynisco Pressure Sensors and Polymer Evaluation Products in the South East United States.
Dynisco (D): Thank you so much for joining us in this new segment Brian. What would you say is ATS's vision of Success
Brian Spell (BS): Advance Technology Systems, or ATS’s vision is simple. To advance cutting edge technology on an ongoing basis and provide customers with distinctive products. We help our customers meet their goals for safety, production, test and measurement, analytics and control of their process. Our mission is to provide services that meet the needs of the process automation industry by integrating technological solutions into the manufacturing process and supplying cost effective remedies that increase our clients return on investment (ROI). If our customers and colleagues are happy, life is good.
(D): How does your partnership with Dynisco align with your vision of success?
(BS): Like Dynisco, ATS is focused on the plastics world. Because of the success we’ve had with Dynisco, we have been inspired to surround ourselves with other polymer focused companies that are also technology driven in varying aspects of polymer processing and testing. This allows ATS to penetrate deeper our existing client base as well as enhance our offering to potential new clients. But, Dynisco has been the company to put us in this advantageous position.
(D): How long have you been partners with Dynisco and what differentiates your organization in the Plastics Processing Market and
(BS): We have been partners with Dynisco over 30 years. Our people and our passion I feel differentiates ATS. We analyze the industry, outshine the competition and focus on customer service. That can only be achieved with passion and commitment.
(D): Why partner with Dynisco?
(BS): Dynisco invented the melt pressure sensor and they’ve been perfecting the technology for over 60 years. Now in 2019, Dynisco’s diverse portfolio of sensing and polymer test equipment delivers the most accurate and repeatable information available in the market for the measurement of polymer rheology, pressure, and temperature. Quite simply Dynisco and ATS represent the best in melt instrumentation and test and measurement equipment
(D): What does Dynisco do/provide to help you successfully compete in the markets you serve?
(BS): Dynisco provides the highest level of expertise in the plastics industry. Yes, they are the benchmark all competitors aspire to for melt pressure measurement and technology. But, through the decades of mastering that science has spawned the polymer testing products that are fast becoming the most trusted and recognized in the industry.
I also want to point out that Dynisco’s management hails from the design, engineering and manufacturing side of the industry. These are people that not only understand business, they are leaders in the plastics industry.
(D): What are your strengths and how does your partnership with Dynisco compliment those strengths?
(BS): Our biggest strength is our basic belief that relationships are at the core of our success. Dynisco and it’s people embrace that belief as well. ATS has become a leader in plastic technology in the southeast. That’s because we are passionate about our business and our relationships. Dynisco embraces the same philosophy along with world class products.
(D): Can you provide an example of how Dynisco has partnered with you to complete a sale or realize a success?
(BS): There are honestly so many, it’s hard to pick just one. But, I will cite an example that happened just today. We received confirmation that one of our Fortune 500 customers is going to purchase the latest product in our PolyTest on-line rheology offering, the ViscoIndicator. The reason this is noteworthy is because of the teamwork that this entailed. Outside of ATS, this customer was visited by the following Dynisco personnel. The President, VP of Engineering, VP of Business Development, VP of Finance and the Regional Sales Manager. A number of them more than once. That’s what sets Dynisco apart.
