John has been the President of Dynisco since 2014. He has also he led two other Roper companies, Viatran and DJ Instruments. He started with Dynisco over 10 years ago as Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations covering (4) domestic and (3) international facilities and was the driving force behind Lean, TCO and DFMA methodologies within those organizations.
Prior to that, he held the position of General Manager of Manufacturing for the Measurement and Instrumentation Division for Invensys Process Systems (Foxboro Company). He has also held many Supply Chain roles including Group Commodity Manager, Engineering Purchasing Manager and Manager of Strategic Non Production Purchasing at EMC Corporation. There he achieved over $150 million in negotiated cost savings three years in a row and led purchasing reengineering efforts that applied various sourcing toolsets including, low cost geography sourcing, clean sheets, should costs and linear performance pricing. While at EMC, he had strategic responsibility for budgets from $600 million to $1.5 billion in spend.
John holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Science in Operations and Information Technology (MSOIT) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
